2.Caduhada or also known as Mambangon Spring Resort is one of the many. Located about 15 minute tricycle ride from the main “sitio”, the waters will definitely speak for itself.  This spring actually supplies water to the land and even the drinking water of the people of the nearby barangay.
True to its name: Mambangon came from the root word “Bangon” meaning to “rise up from lying position” – it is a source of life, livelihood and raising people’s spirits.

Moises Padilla Annual Fiesta

Every last week of March Moises Padilla celebrated their annual fiesta. Their fiesta was called "Magayon Hinuptanan Festival". One of their activities was "Magayon Hinuptanan Festival Queen".  Magayon Hinuptanan Festival Queen is one of the choosen activities to showcase the different beauties and talents of each individuals. After that pageant the festival's highlight is the  Hinuptanan Streetdancing Competition. "Hinuptanan" is all about taking care of farm animals, and the dance sees the performers dressed as carabaos, chickens, horses, cows, goats, and the town's other animals.













A brief history of Moises Padilla

In the late 1890's Moises Padilla was just only a small barrio of Isabela and Moises Padilla was named after the late running mayor Moises Padilla was tortured by his running opponent during election. After that incident President Ramon Magsaysay decided to go here in Moises Padilla  to help his no. 1 supporter but he was too late because when he camed here Moises Padilla was already dead. So, after that tragic event in on 1950's the small barrio became a town and called Moises Padilla. So, director Gerry De Leon decided to make a film about the life of Moises Padilla and during 1960's era Moises Padilla Story known as one of the best film ever created in the Philippine Movie Industry and that film has been nominated as one of the Best Foreign Language in the 1960's OSCAR Awards of Hollywood USA. And now Moises Padilla is known for being the Livestock Capital of Negros Occidental. Moises Padilla also known as "Magallon" came from the word "Magayon" means beauty or "Matahum". But, Moises Padilla or Magallon  has also a different relaxing and beautiful spots where you can unwined together with your family and friends. In, Moises Padilla you can also see the perfect view of Mt. Canlaon and it was located at Brgy. 7, Moises Padilla. Also they have a different resort where you can spend your vacation like Kaitulari Eco Park and Recreation. And today Moises Padilla are still improving for a better place where to lived in.
